This Sunday, November 13, at 7:00pm EST the story of YIVO, the Paper Brigade, and the rescue of Jewish artifacts and culture will be featured in a segment on 60 Minutes on CBS.
Filmed in New York City and Vilnius, Lithuania, reporter Jon Wertheim reports on this remarkable story. The segment features YIVO’s Executive Director & CEO, Jonathan Brent, and Stefanie Halpern, YIVO’s Director of Archives.
The segment will appear on the 60 Minutes website following Sunday evening’s airing.
